Trinity Church in Lewiston, long known for providing creative programs that
benefit the city, announces the next in its series of concerts to being
    held monthly every second Saturday.

Featured artist on Saturday, March 8 will be "A Moment's Notice."  Since
the mid 1990's the group has been performing a blend of straight ahead jazz
standards and original tunes in the Lewiston-Auburn area and around Maine
in various venues. While often appearing as a quartet, this show presents
the trio of John Smedley on guitar, Jeff Taylor on bass and Michael Hansen
on drums. Their set list for this show includes Smedley originals, as well
as works by Theolonious Monk andWes Montgomery.

The concert begins at 7:00 with doors opening at 6:30.  Snacks and beverages
will be offered at intermission. A suggested ten dollar donation toward the
artists and the many neighborhood ministries of Trinity Church may be made
at the door (kids free). Trinity is located at 247 Bates St., corner of
Spruce St. next to Kennedy Park.

The Room at Trinity is now booking the 2014-15 season. To offer your
talents as an opener or performer next year, please submit an application
through the RAT website  Spots are
available for opening acts by local singer songwriters, poets, storytellers
and other artists.  You can also follow the series progress on the RAT
    Facebook page.
